Can I Use Old Samsung Speakers With A New Dvd Player Surround Sound Setup HDMI Aughghghghghg?

Surround Sound Setup HDMI Aughghghghghg? - can i use old samsung speakers with a new dvd player

I just bought a 40 "Samsung LCD HDTV with HDMI on top of this, I replaced my old Sony receiver with a new 510-model.

Let me explain.

The TV has three HDMI connections and 3 MI-receiver has two inputs and one output. that's my problem. Nothing goes through my surround sound.

I have a DVD on HDMI, the Wii, upconverted is a Sony Playstation 2 and, of course, cable TV and two standard AV ports on the back of the receiver and of course the HDMI for the DVD. Nothing goes through the receiver. Only the TV, which is collected, the DVD is connected with HDMI to the receiver and receiver to the TV via HDMI with the TV speakers and surround sound does not. AugustHHGHGH I have this apart and back together, like 6 times and makes me mad.

Who knows how I can do things with my surround sound? this sucks is a receiver and new TV and new DVD?

The non-receptor convert all inputs to HDMI output.

When you connect the Wii / S-video cable to the receiver - you need to build an S-Video S-Video to the TV device.

Your DVD player to the speakers to the receiver. It shows that the video runs directly next to the TV.

Another possibility might be:

- Run HDMI video and all new TV
- Run the audio receiver.

So it depends on your settings. PS2 and Wii has no HDMI output. Where did you connect the Wii-PS2 N? If you both for the reciver reflection component or standard RCA cable. You must ensure that sufficient input on your receiver setting. its receptor acts as a "switch" for the console. I have an Onkyo unit and had the same thing happened to me. It must ensure that each console has been in the correct entry.

Here are my two cents. I think the HDMI connections only work with video and no sound. The upconversion signal receiver video upconversion for standard high-definition (although I read in some articles that the upconversion is not as good). So what I think you should do is to connect all devices to the HDMI input on your receiver then the receiver output to the TV, but a separate cable, all audio devices to connect your A / V to power the surround sound. Hope this helps
