I do not think this should be a problem.
This often leads to chew on the cloth, blankets, etc.? And it can buy a little difficult for him the equipment to get.
You do not have a lot to fear.
Place a favorite chew toy in there with him to do something and have not so scared to turn and chew their attention elsewhere.
