Terabyte Internal Hard Drive Would It Be Okay To Replace An Old Floppy Drive With And Internal Hard Drive?

Would it be okay to replace an old floppy drive with and internal hard drive? - terabyte internal hard drive

I've recently bought two computers (same model) when sold at the local university. And right after I purchased upgrade a new hobby, my computer.

I managed to Vista, RAM removed and placed in another. Now I am facing a new problem, the internal memory.

I personally think that 38 gigabytes is not easy to cut. So I ran to the computer store and one terabyte internal hard drive lifted. With this I realized that the only place would be in an appropriate manner is where the floppy drive. (3.5 inches) a floppy drive is fairly old technology obsolete, as he came out. The opening of the tower that was free, I have tried to delete it.

I am a bit more complicated than expected. The power supply seems to have a DVD player to connect.

So really, you should try, or should I take?

There is also a SATA drive, and I can not find the plug-ins.

And if someone has time, a few tips on removing cable ties?

If your computer has only 40 GB hard disk and floppy disk drive, it is very probable that supports SATA. However, the device can at the Bay 3.5 "will be mounted using a disk, or you can use a 5.25" to 3.5-inch catalytic converter, mounted on to one of the main bays. But I like your computer is so old, it is probably not compatible with the new 1 TB hard drive you bought.
